Sermon 04/12/15: “The Vine and the Olive Shoots”

Today’s sermon was preached on Psalm 128 and that nature of the covenant family and covenant life in general It’s truly amazing that the Lord deals with us in the greater context of our family and the church (or, in the context of the covenant), and not just on an individual basis, which is sadly, the understanding of many in the broader church. Our wives (to the husbands), are precious vines which need to be watered with love, and our “olive shoot” children (to the parents), need to be discipled and watered with the word of God so they will grow up to bare “kingdom fruit.” I do hope you find this sermon edifying and many blessing from the folks here at Emmanuel Chapel.
